My idea was to create an abstract shape out of leaves and flower buds I could find around my yard. While I am not exactly sure what plant leaves I used, I was able to find a few different sizes and shapes, along with a few lavender buds to make my piece of art. I do believe my piece was able to express my idea. My choice of materials influenced the experience of my artwork because the shapes of the items I chose only allowed for a few variations of ways it could be shown, or else the leaves would not fully be in view. In my opinion, there is no specific time limit on low long a kiss should last, how long a great meal should mast, how long a work of art should last, how long a marriage should last, and how long human life should last. Some people may have an opinion on each, but to me, it is the feeling you get when experiencing them that should last forever. Whether they all are tangibly possible to last forever, the feelings they should give you should last for an eternity. I do not believe that just because some things have a time limit, they should be experienced any differently. Other things like clean water, air, and land should be sustainable and long lasting, but unfortunately that is not always the case. One person, like me, can make a difference in spreading the word about how others can also make a difference. It takes more than one person to make a huge change, but the change always starts with someone.
